Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and chances are you’re still unsure what to get your mom for the holiday.

Located in The Village shopping center, Planted cctx is a plant nursery specializing in all things horticulture related. Take Mom out to buy a rattlesnake plant, a mandarin orange plant or a money tree to liven up her home.

Elizabeth’s at the Museum
Inside the Art Museum of South Texas resides Elizabeth’s, but be sure to make reservations before heading its way. The café serves tapas-style dining with Pan-Mediterranean flair, joined with light Asian-inspired dishes during lunch hours.

Hit the beach

Have Mom take the day off and take over the chores from her. While she’s relaxing, have the whole family cook her favorite dish that she can enjoy before a quiet bedtime.
